An own son of Colonel Freckles we purchased in Brenham, TX a few years ago; "Col R" has been an excellent addition to our breeding program. Col R comes from a very strong broodmare line being out of an own daughter of Sugar Bars. He is a 15.3 hand horse who was trained as a reiner, but was unshown due to injury. He mixes well on short wide foundation type mares. Remington's Nipper is a Col R gelding who has his COA in the NCHA, with over $2500 in earnings. Other offspring are currently being shown NBHA and several are used as ranch horses. Col R was sold as a yearling when Lou Waters held his dispersal sale, which makes him from the next to last crop of Colonel Freckles. We have Col R offspring for sale at the ranch.
